Hello, I am David Grathwohl; I've been teaching since 2012. I graduated from the University of Cincinnati, with a bachelors in Middle Childhood Education with concentrations in Math and Language Arts. I continued my education in Chicago and received my Masters Degree in Urban Education while completing a Teacher Residency in Chicago's South Side neighborhood. I taught two years in Chicago, and then moved back to Cincinnati and joined the Mount Healthy District. I've taught at the Junior High, but have now found a home at South Elementary. I love setting high expectations for my students and showing them that resiliency is the key to success. I make an effort to show my students that with hard work and dedication - anything is possible.

When I'm not at work I spend my time with friends and loved ones. I also enjoy reading and exercising: "reading is to the mind what exercise is to the body." ~ Joseph Addison
