Many South Moms, Grandmas, and Guardians shared tasty muffins and milk or juice with their children on Friday, October 6. They also listened as teachers provided many engaging literacy activities to do with their children, including reading for 20 minutes every evening with them. Additionally, teachers handed out reading and writing booklets and packets for students to gain more experience and time for reading outside of school. South PTO offered a basket and item raffle for all those in attendance. Special Thanks to the South PTO for their hard work on this event as well as South staff and especially Moms, Grandmas, and Guardians who were able to attend.
